When heat is applied to the reel of solder it fills in the gap between the tube and the fitting using a capillary action creating a reliable joint. Suitable for use on hot and cold water services for potable water in small bore and mini bore central heating systems and in low pressure steam heating and pressurised unvented heating systems and in chilled water applications.
