Hot Water Bottle 2L

Personal care covers toiletries and grooming products: shower gels and bath products, body sprays and fragrances, shaving gels and razors, hair care, and boxed gift sets that combine several of these, often packed with a wash bag, slippers or another extra.

Reading the label

Cosmetic products sold in Great Britain must list their ingredients on the packaging, starting with the word ingredients and in descending order of weight, using standard ingredient names. This makes it easier to check for an ingredient you know you react to. The label also shows the volume or weight, a batch number, how long the product can be used for, and any precautions for use. Read these before using a product for the first time.

Choosing gift sets

Gift sets are grouped by fragrance range and by who they are for. Check the description for the number and size of the items inside, and whether accessories such as bags, gowns, slippers or ear buds are included.

Shaving and grooming

Match replacement blades and refills to the handle or device they are made for. Disposable razors are used complete and then replaced.

Aerosols and vaping products

Body sprays and other aerosols are pressurised: follow the warnings on the can and the manufacturer's instructions and safety data, and keep them away from heat and flames. Vape pens and coils are also found in this category. It is illegal to sell nicotine vapes, refills and e-liquids to anyone under 18, or to obtain them for someone under 18. Since 1 June 2025 it has also been illegal anywhere in the UK to sell or supply a single-use vape, meaning one whose battery cannot be recharged or which cannot be refilled.
