Oval Black Bulkhead

Garden sundries are the everyday extras for looking after a garden, patio and decking. This category covers patio, deck, porcelain and artificial grass cleaners, algae and black spot removers, patio and deck sealers, decking paints and stains, seed trays, coir pots and growing poles, galvanised bins, paving brushes, solar path lights and garden furniture.

Cleaning hard surfaces

Choose a cleaner made for the surface: porcelain paving, natural stone, concrete, timber decking and artificial grass each have their own products. Algae and moss removers for paths and patios are biocidal products, so check the product is approved for the job, follow the label exactly, keep it in its original container away from children and pets, and never pour leftovers down a drain. Test a cleaner on a small, hidden area first, and keep it off plants and lawns unless the label says otherwise.

Decking finishes

Decking paints and stains colour and protect timber decks, and anti-slip versions add texture for grip. Clean the deck and let it dry first, then apply on a warm, dry day without wind. Check the drying time on the tin before the deck is walked on.

Growing and storage

Seed trays and cell trays are used for sowing and raising seedlings. Coir pots are biodegradable propagation pots, and coir moss poles support climbing house plants. Galvanised bins with lids provide outdoor storage, and solar path lights charge in daylight with no wiring needed.
