Outdoor living brings together the products that make a garden, patio or balcony a place to eat, relax and entertain. It covers garden furniture and bistro sets, loungers and relaxer chairs, parasols and gazebos, barbecues and cooking accessories, fire pits, cool boxes and ice packs, flasks and travel mugs, and covers to protect equipment.

Furniture and shade

Garden furniture is made in metal, such as iron bistro tables and chairs, and in fabric on a frame, such as textilene dining sets, folding relaxers and zero gravity chairs. Measure the space and decide how many people you need to seat. Parasols are sized by canopy width, and some have a crank to open the canopy and a tilt to angle it. Gazebos cover a larger area for parties and events.

Cooking and fire safety

Use barbecues outdoors only, on a stable surface away from buildings, fences and plants. Never use one in a tent, awning, caravan or garage, because of the risk of fire and carbon monoxide poisoning, and never put a used barbecue in a car or tent while it cools. Light charcoal with suitable firelighters, never petrol, never leave a lit barbecue unattended, and keep children and pets at a safe distance. For fire pits, follow the manufacturer's instructions. Cooking accessories in the range include griddles, food thermometers, heat-resistant gloves, aprons and grill brushes.

Food, drink and covers

Cool boxes and cool bags keep food and drinks chilled when packed with frozen ice packs, and folding designs pack flat when not in use. Flasks and travel mugs keep drinks hot or cold on the go. Covers help protect barbecues and furniture from rain and dust between uses.
